Wirral Society Takes on Eggheads

'Prenton Literati', a quiz team representing The Prenton Literary and Debating Society, will go head to head with 'probably he best quiz team in Britain' -The Eggheads - this week.
See them compete at 6pm on Friday 6 September on BBC2.
The Prenton Literary and Debating Society was founded in 1890 and has met continuosly ever since, come rain shine or war. It meets at Prenton Bowls Club, Prenton Road West CH42 9PZ every Tuesday at 7.30 p.m. from October to March. The next meeting is on 8th October with 'Some thoughts on John Ruskin' .
