James is patient, friendly and helpful. He takes his time to ensure you are at ease and doesn't rush you. My Son really looks forward to his lesson and is making excellent progress.

After being a student of James for almost 10 years, he has taught me a wide range of genres including rock, classical and jazz. James is also good with players of all ability and age, and is without a doubt one of the most patient teachers I've ever encountered. I would highly recommenrd him to anyone interested in learning guitar to a high standard.

James has been teaching me Jazz and Blues guitar, and his relaxed approach makes the lessons fun and challenging at the same time. If you are serious about learning, he is the man.

janes was easy to get along with and always ready to help out! James had great communication and as flexible when needed, he also pushed me when I thought I couldn't achieve something :)

James is an excellent teacher, he's patient and doesn't push his pupils hard, (certainly in the early days when confidence needs to be built) I'm looking forward to becoming a competent guitar player with his help and guidance. Dave W.
