Gosforth Music, formerly "Pianos of Gosforth", opened in May 2007, and is the only specialist Piano shop in Newcastle. Offering a wide range of pianos to suit the requirements of all, we have pianos by some of the world's best-known and respected manufacturers such as Steinway and Bluthner, and Japanese instruments by Kawai and Yamaha.

We can also now offer a wide range of Acoustic Guitars by well known and respected makers such as Yamaha, Tanglewood, Faith, LAG, Yari, Fylde etc. and a range of  Mandolins, Mandola's, Banjos, etc.

Rental Scheme  

We offer a range of options, including Interest free credit through the art councils "Take it Away" scheme, and our own very simple and straight forward plan, details of which are available in store.

Our range of sheet music in stock is constantly expanding, and now includes ABRSM publications for Piano, Violin, Flute, Clarinet, "Peters Editions" of classical Piano repertoire, a wide range of titles from all genre including pop, jazz, film music, show music etc.  

Accessories 

A wide range of accessories and gift ideas are in stock, including strings, saxophone and clarinet reeds, violin rosin, plectrums, valve oil, tuners, metronomes, capos, music cases, gig-bags and much more!
