Welcome to the latest edition of Neston News - your weekly round up of local news and events in the Neston area.

Click here for Online version (if your email or mobile programme has mangled the layout).

The last few outdoor events of the season are taking place this weekend. Stanney Fields' annual Fun Dog Show is on Saturday and on Sunday there's a Fun Day at Wood Farm Park.  On both days there's free entry at Burton Mere Wetlands to celebrate its birthday.  Hope the weather is kind!

The CH64 Events Group are busy planning the Neston Christmas Lights 'n' Lanterns event for this year (Friday December 6) and volunteer stewards are needed to assist on the night.  It's just a couple of hours and it's good fun.  If you think you can help, please contact Eileen or Zaria on 0151 353 8638 or by email.

Rob Ward informs us that he's now put a pile of leaflets in Neston Library, with a map of the new Burton Marsh Greenway. It's produced by Sustrans with Flintshire County Council, and labelled East Flintshire. Pick one up and go for a walk or cycle!

Local businesses - you can now enter for the first ever Neston & District Business Awards. Details here, deadline December 9. Members of the public are very welcome to nominate their favourite local business for the Best Customer Service Award.  Again, details here.

I'll leave you to catch up now on all the local news and forthcoming events. Remember to keep your submissions coming, we love to hear from you.

Have a great week!
