Welcome to Neston News, your weekly catch-up on stories that currently appear on AboutMyArea CH64.

Click here to see the newsletter online (some mail programmes mess up the layout).

Happy New Year!  Here's hoping that 2017 is as jam-packed with news and events in Neston as last year. In case you missed them, you can still read up on our Review of 2016 here and the Year in Pictures here.

Our header shot to kick off the new year is a fabulous photo of a sparrow hawk, captured by Steve Ebbrell at Burton Mere. Stunning!

If you are keen on photography, make sure you keep an eye on AboutMyArea in the next week as we will be publishing some exciting news for you.  Meanwhile, if you have any photos you think might be suitable for our header shot (letterbox dimensions, please) or for our Photo Galleries, please do send them in by email.

Naturally it's been quite quiet in the area over the Christmas period, hence we haven't got as much news as usual to share, but the events calendar is starting to fill up. Check out What's On here.  You can also scroll back through our Local News section for any stories you may have missed on the busy run up to the festive season.

I'll leave you now with just a quick reminder to keep your stories and events coming, we love to hear from you!

Have a great week,

Carrie & the AboutMyArea team
