Our header this week is another run out for a favourite of mine, taken down on the marsh by Steve Ebbrell.  With it comes a reminder to all local photographers, both amateur and professional, we would love to receive your submissions for the 2018 Neston Calendar.  Full details here.

This weekend is for foodies!  There's Neston Market (Friday 8am to 3pm), the Farmers' and Foodmakers' Market (Saturday 9am to 1pm) and the Gordale Food Festival (Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 5pm), so please do shop locally all weekend.  Plus, throughout February, Marsh Nurseries in Parkgate has a great offer on shrubs and compost, so you can think about getting the garden ready for Spring.

A quick reminder - Valentine's Day and Half Term are coming up, so if you have anything you think we should be featuring for either of those, please do get in touch.

Meanwhile, please keep your stories, photos and event information coming, we love to hear from you.

Have a great week,

Carrie & the AboutMyArea team
