16th Century Spoon Found in Little Paxton St Neots

During work on St James Church, Little Paxton to restore the church bell's a wooden spoon and a piece of clay pipe were found in the tower masonry. It is believed they were probably put there in the 16th century.
The Vicar of Little Paxton, the Rev, Annette Reed, will be presenting the items to the new curator of St Neots Museum, Liz Davies on Wednesday 22nd February at 12 noon at the Museum.
