Hi, I am the AboutMyArea site editor for four websites covering the Mid & North Holderness, East Wolds & Coastal and Beverley postcode areas. Basically, that encompasses everything lying between Driffield and Sproatley (including Hornsea & Beverley!). I aim to provide an affordable advertising option for Local Businesses so that I can provide a Free & Friendly service to local interest and volunteer groups, local charities and other local good causes. I also pledge to pass-on a worthwhile portion of all such revenues to the benefit of local charities and good causes. The websites aim to keep you up-to-date with everything that's going on in our area and who you can contact if you need to find out more. YOU have the ability to help too, because YOU can contribute directly to the websites - just logon to discover more! Remember, we want to be able to say "If it's on, it's in!"

I run the AboutMyArea community website for Neston Heswall, Bromborough, Bebington and villages throughout South Wirral. I take a very hands-on approach to gathering news and making things happen in my area, by being involved with various community organisations and the Chamber of Trade. I believe the area deserves it’s own dedicated news and information platform, and somewhere for local people to have their say. I also seek to give local businesses a truly cost-effective way of letting people know about their services. Buy Local!

I run the AboutMyArea site for North Leeds. I am closely involved with many areas of the Community and help raise awareness of voluntary groups, charities and residential groups in the area, as well as working closely with local businesses to increase their profile in the Community.

I am the site editor for Portsmouth, Fareham and Gosport. I've been with AboutMyArea since the end of 2005 and love providing a platform for local groups, people and businesses, as well as a community news resource. I started running my site initially in the north of Portsmouth but recently expanded and can now offer a more flexible service with a wider user base. I've lived in Portsmouth all my life but I am still amazed about the amount of new things I am finding out about the area.

We run AboutMyArea EN9 local interactive community website for Waltham Abbey, Nazeing, Upshire and surrounding villages in the EN9 region. Waltham Abbey is said to be “the best kept secret”, but the area has so much to offer with the natural beauty of Lee Valley Park, Gunpowder Park and Epping Forest as well as many amazing attractions including the Royal Gunpowder Mills, Lee Valley Park Farms, Waltham Abbey Church and Gardens; the diverse and varied pubs, restaurants and cafes as well as extensive list of clubs and groups; and the new site of the Olympic White Water Slalom Course. We are proud to support and get involved with community groups and projects since we launched in the summer of 2008. Our aim is to become a one stop website resource for all local information and to promote positive news, events, resources and attractions to the local community and beyond. If you would like to contribute to the website and help “keep the spirit of community alive in EN9”, please get in contact. We look forward to hearing from you.
