Once again Neston's luck held, with the sun shining down on Ladies Day.
Ladies Day 2011 - Photo by Bernard Rose.
The annual Ladies Day Walk took place in a window of sunshine, after days of gloomy weather, proving once more that the Neston Female Society must have some influence on the elements!
This year's parade involved over 150 walkers, accompanied by, amongst others, Neston's new Mayor, Cllr Martin Barker, and Mayoress, Mrs Cheryl Barker and Councillor Eleanor Johnson, Chairman of Cheshire West and Chester Council, who attended in her role as The Lord Mayor of Chester.
Below you will find just some of the hundreds of photos taken by AboutMyArea on the day. The official photographer this year was Linda Pelling. Some of her photos are now on display on a screen in the window of RBM Davies at the Cross. If you would like to see a proof sheet of all her pictures, please contact Linda on 0151 353 0940 or by email.

Our very grateful thanks to Maurice Rigby for giving us access to Jackson's Tower to take photographs of the event.
More photos to be added later, please check back - we will also be showcasing pictures by the official photographer on the day, Linda Pelling.
