These are the term dates for the current school year.
Please note that start and end dates for each term may vary slightly where individual schools hold teacher training days.
Autumn term 2008
Schools go back on Wednesday 3 September and break up for Christmas on Friday 19 December
Half term is 27-31 October
Spring term 2009
Schools go back after the New Year on Monday 5 January and break up for the Easter holidays on Friday 3 April
Half term is 16-20 February
Summer term 2009
Schools go back after Easter on Monday 20 April and the last day of term before the Summer holidays on Wednesday 22 July
Half term is 25-29 May
