Terry George's ‘The Shore', starring Ciarin Hinds, won an Oscar for the best live action short film at this year's Academy Awards.
The main film of the evening is the widely acclaimed Benda Balili!, the true story of a group of Congolese musicians living in desperate circumstances, who, through lots of talent, determination and some luck, find themselves playing at the top of the bill in concert halls across Europe, including at The Stables!
Not to be missed as a triumphant story coming out of Africa," the best musical of the year" according to Film critic Mark Kermode and as our tribute to Stony Live!
