ESF Community Grants Scheme

Is your not-for-profit group involved in developing the skills of local people or supporting people into employment? Could you use a grant of up to £12,000 for this work?
If this might include you then come along to a free briefing about the ESF Community Grants scheme on Monday 16 July 2012, 3pm-6pm at the Haven Community Centre (Mary Rose room), Lake Road, PO1 4HA.
The event will begin with a presentation and question-and-answer session about the grant scheme from 3 to 4pm, then a free time for questions and advice about your group and your ideas for an application.
To confirm your attendance or ask any questions, please contact Kevin Sawers at Community Action Hampshire on 01962 857358 or firstname.lastname@example.org You can also book a ten minute slot between 4 and 6pm to discuss your application ideas, otherwise it will be first come, first served.
Please note the ESF Community Grants scheme is only open to not-for-profit groups with a total income over the last three years of less than £300,000 (i.e. an average of £100,000 per year). You can apply for up to £12,000 to help people living in Portsmouth and the wider Hampshire area who are not in paid employment

Community Grants is funded by the European Social Fund and the Skills Funding Agency, and managed in the south-east of England by Surrey Community Action. CAH is administering the programme in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton.
