Tuesday morning walkers
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Weekly walks around the reserve with a leader, looking for birds, wildlife and enjoying the site. Everyone welcome.

Our expert will be on hand to demonstrate the latest binoculars and telescopes. Try them out while enjoying the birds on view as well.

All Nature, ‘Bioblitz' Day
Saturday, 21 July
An all day celebration of the fantastic array of wildlife seen at The Lodge, for all of the family. Join us and local experts as we find out what flutters, buzzes, creeps, crawls and flies on the reserve. Come along any time between 10am and 5pm for activities and self-guided walks. Guided walks, including birds and moths, to be announced shortly.
Cost: Self- led free with trail sheets supplied. (Donations gratefully accepted)
Guided: RSPB members £3, non-members £4, children £3, RSPB Wildlife Explorers £2.
Parking charges apply to non RSPB members. £4 per vehicle.
Minibeast Safari

Date with Nature Dragonfly Watch
Saturday, 28 & Sun 30 July
11am - 4pm
Meet our friendly staff and volunteers who will be on hand to show dragonflies, flitting and skimming around the ponds and the old swimming pool at the Lodge.
Binoculars available for even closer views! Make your own little dragonfly to take home.
Free event. Booking not required. Donations for dragonfly making welcome.
Car parking charges apply to Non-RSPB members. £4 per vehicle.
Children's Nature Discovery
Monday, 30 July
2pm - 4pm
Enjoy a walk discovering bugs, birds, butterflies and dragonflies and try some bark rubbing along the way.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
