St Winefride's Summer Fair was extremely successful and very well attended.
Fr Ravi presenting the fastest goal prize.
The sun shone down over our School, which is rare! We had to extend the opening time as people were still arriving with only half an hour to go, no one seemed to want to leave.
It was a lovely day with plenty for everyone to do. We had Mini Go Karts and a Bouncy Castle, Mini Golf, Beat the Goalie and the Fastest Goal Competition; the winner receiving a trophy. There were Pony Rides from Parkgate Pony Sanctuary, Candy Floss, a Sweet Shop, a Toy Shop, Coconut Shy, Stocks, the Chester High School Band perfoming, Karate Demonstrations, Face Painting and Tattoos.
Cream Teas were on offer, Bric a Brac, Plants, BBQ and not forgetting the Beer Tent for the adults accompanying the children!
There was so much to do for everyone and we have received so many positive comments and praise... It's going to be even bigger and better next Summer! Fr Ravi, the new Parish Priest, attended the fair and presented the fastest goal trophy. There were many excellent raffle prizes. £100 was the top prize, plus a Spa Day at Thornton Hall Hotel. Meal vouchers were also up for grabs.
Here are some photos taken on the day.
