welcome to your AMAZing newsletter
covering Holderness and The East Yorkshire Wolds & Coast

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to this weeks Newsletter!

Thanks again to everyone who has been in touch and sent in contributions. It is your contributions that help make your particular postcode website truly local and therefore we need more and more submissions in order to create that truly local feel. At the end of each week, we then pull everything together and put it in this newsletter. That means everybody then gets a regional overview as well!

This week we have an appeal for East Riding Poetry Writers to come forward in order to perhaps have their work recorded for posterity as part of an Audio CD highlighting the regions poetic talents.

We also have news of a privately owned village Pub/Restaurant that is desperately seeking a new owner or tenant who possesses the ability to continue the fine reputation of the 45 seater restaurant.

Talking about food, their is a Burns Night Special & Supper Evening at the Blue Bell at Riverhead put on by Driffield Folk Club. So go along and get your haggis!

Good luck also to the Hedon Drama Group who are putting on their Alladin pantomime from Thursday until Saturday next week.

There's lots more inside too including information about upcoming events across the region.

If you've got something that you'd like broadcasting then please register with one of our websites and then you can submit your own articles which will then get picked-up for inclusion in the Newsletter too. Just logon to (for example): www.aboutmyarea.co.uk/HU18 - just use the 4 digit postcode that's most relevant to you. The sites that we manage are HU11, HU12, HU17, HU18, HU19, YO15 & YO25. So if you want your submission to be picked-up for the Newsletter, then be sure to choose one of those!

See you all next week,

All the best,

John.
