Rohan AmickNovember's newsletter from Rohan Amick's findings on his walks around Lakeside can be found here.
This is a good time to watch for the swarming of migratory birds, either returning to Africa or Europe to winter in a suitable climate where there is plenty of food, or to gather for protection. At the moment there are many examples of Starlings swarming, sometimes in their hundreds or even thousands, at dawn and at dusk.
Rohan runs weekly walks around Lakeside which are open to members of the general public.
You can join in Rohan's weekly walk on Wednesdays from 12.30. Meet at the Lakeside 1000 Atrium.
