Have You Got Portsmouth's Prettiest Pooch 2018?

Published: 3rd May 2018 13:53

Mali was last year's winning pooch

Portsmouth's Prettiest Pooch is back for 2018.

It's time to showcase your furry friend in AboutMyArea's annual competition sponsored by Sanctuary Vets.

Is your canine a cutie from Cosham, a beauty from Buckland or a sweetie from Southsea? Wherever they are from across our area, here's your chance to show them off to the rest of the Portsmouth community in this year's fun poll.

The winning entry will receive a bridge camera courtesy of Sanctuary Vets and, of course, some treats for their top pooch.

Email a photo of your dog to portsmouth@aboutmyarea.co.uk by 18th May 2018 along with their name, your name, area in which you live and your contact number.

Entries should be living in Portsmouth, Havant, Waterlooville, Fareham or Gosport. By entering your dog into the competition, you are confirming that your dog is from these areas. Photos must be of individual dogs, must show their face and must also be a recent one, eg no puppy photos of dogs that are now adults. You may only enter one photo of your dog so make sure it's a good one!

Entries will be posted on the AboutMyArea Portsmouth website after the 18th May 2018  so dog lovers of Portsmouth can get voting.

The photo with the most votes will be the winner. In the event of a tie, the winning entry will be chosen by a member of staff from Sanctuary Vets.

The winning dog and owner will be invited to Sanctuary Vets to be photographed collecting their prize. This will then be published on AboutMyArea Portsmouth.

Please note that this competition is becoming more popular each year and it may be necessary to limit entries so that it can be managed efficiently.
