Lois Weedon and Weston May Day Fair Monday the 1st May
 2017 at The Barns Helmdon Road Weston Near Towcester NN12 8PX.

The Fair is open from 10.30 am with Craft Stalls and Refreshments throughout the day.

Entrance to the Fair, including free programme, is £2.00 for adults, £1.00 for children, Car Parking free,

The fair is opened officially at 12 noon with the crowning of the May Queen Carcey Morell attended by Alexa Walton and Harriet Sullivan-Roberts. This will be followed by the traditional Maypole Dancing by the children of St Loys CEVA Academy School Lois Weedon. The May Queen and her attendants will arrive at 12.00 in a suitably grand vehicle. The children of the school also design the front page of the May Day Programme.
 
The Great Weston run is not taking place this year but we have a Fun Run for Pre-school & Reception; Years 1-2; 3-4, 4-5. Race starts at 1pm, just turn up on the day at the activity field and pay £1. The children will also be doing a Judo demonstration Organised by Friends of St Loys School.
 
We are also pleased to announce our Companion Dog Show. Judging starts from 12.30. This will be followed by our ever popular Terrier Racing.
 
We have invited back the popular and spectacular Falconry Display, with our Fairground attractions Bouncy Castle, Children’s Rides and Sideshows Alpacas. Pit your skills against your  friends at Welly Wanging. Then relax and listen to the fabulous Brackley District Band and watch that traditional favourite Morris Dancing. Admire our display of Classic Cars and Motorbikes and watch a Demonstration of lightning fast Sheepshearing by our resident Kiwi Andy Deverill.
 
There is the usual substantial and varied Craft Fair under cover in the barns with including a huge Tombola, Toys and Book Stalls, Craft and Food Stalls, Candy floss, and Ice Cream.
 
Refreshments are available throughout the day either cakes and drinks in the refreshment barn, Cider courtesy of ‘3 Cs’, Beer from the Towcester Mill Brewery, the outdoor Pig Roast and Burger Bar and ‘Foodie Stalls’ in the Barns. The Crown Inn is open all day for stronger drinks and the usual pub fare.
 
Raffle tickets are on sale throughout the day (draw takes place at 4.00, the official closing of the show) Prizes are Silverstone tickets (sadly not the Grand Prix), Northants County Cricket Club Tickets, Cobblers Tickets,  £100  Voucher to visit the Alpacas on their Farm, plus lots of other prizes.
