A yellow weather warning has been received forecasting moderate snow fall across the county until 1pm this afternoon.
A yellow weather warning has been received forecasting moderate snow fall across the county until 1pm this afternoon.
Around 4-5cms of snow has fallen overnight with the south of the county receiving the most snowfall.
As the day progresses, the snow flurries should largely fade, with some brighter spells this afternoon. Feeling cold throughout with a brisk north-easterly wind. Light snow is expected from 5pm today, with patchy light rain becoming sleet or snow in places.
The severe weather desk was mobilised at 6am on Tuesday and will manage the severe weather until further notice.
