MILTON KEYNES SCALE MODEL CLUB is one of the countries top scale plastic modelling clubs, with members from Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.
Our members build all types of models. The current types of models built include; aircraft, armour, ships, figures, cars and science fiction.
One of the strengths of the club is the willingness of all members to share their knowledge and experience with others. We aim to help others improve their models and encourage the newcomer or old hand. We can show you how to make it, paint it, finish it, weather it and display it. In short, you are sure to come away from every meeting having learned something new.
Whether you regard modelling as a pass time, making no more than a couple of models a year, you are a younger modeller keen to get more information, or you have years of experience, but always worked alone, the Milton Keynes Scale Model Club has something to offer.
Meetings are held on a monthly basis, on the fourth Wednesday in every month - except December, when it is on the third Wednesday, at the Cranfield University Social Club, close to Junction 14 of the M1, starting at about 7.30pm.
Every month throughout the year, except April (AGM) and December (Christmas) the club holds a competition for the best modeller of the year.
Email the Club Secretary at secretary@mksmc.co.uk for more details of our meetings, or visit our web site at www.mksmc.co.uk
