Towcester U3A is an organisation for the retired and semi retired in this area.
We have more than 280 members from Towcester and the surrounding area.
What is the U3A?
The U3A is a community of active retired people which enables members to share many educational, creative, leisure and social activities.
What do we do?
Monthly meetings are held on the last Wednesday of every month (2 - 4 pm) in Towcestrians Sports Clubl. We have a guest speaker, and a chance to mingle and chat over tea or coffee.
There are more than 30 interest groups, giving plenty of opportunities to share old hobbies and interests or take up new ones.
- Groups meet weekly, monthly or twice a month, as their members decide.
- Some meet in members homes, others in local community rooms.
- They include, walking, games, gardening, art, learning languages, history, ....
- We also organise outings, to explore London, visit places of interest, or just for enjoyment.
