Sailability 2018 - local young carers enjoy a day out thanks to The Rotary Club of Towcester and Northamptonshire Carers
Following on from the success of last year’s event, The Rotary Club of Towcester, in conjunction with the team from Northamptonshire Carers, recently organised for a group of local young carers to experience Sailability at Pitsford Reservoir.
This year seventeen youngsters enjoyed time out on the water in the morning before tucking into a barbecue lunch.The afternoon project was to build two rafts and have a race. This year was exceptional – one raft made it back to shore completely in tact! However, everyone was thoroughly wet after the day's activities!
Our heartfelt thanks to the Sailability team who welcomed everyone and ensured a memorable day out for all.
