Grade F: £26,109.50 - £30,413.50 per annum (pro rata)
Weekly hours
22.2 hours per week (3 days), Permanent

Job description
South Northamptonshire Council are currently seeking someone with experience of working with the community/voluntary sector to join their Healthy Communities Team to:

  • administer the Council’s community funding programme
  • monitor and review the Council’s grant policies and conditions
  • support and advise the Council’s Community Funding Panel
  • provide funding advice to parish authorities and local voluntary/community sector groups
  • develop and manage the council’s contracts, grant agreements and partnerships

The person
You will have experience in assessing funding applications, budget management and monitoring and working in a community development/engagement role. You must have a good understanding of parish councils and the voluntary and community sector and the relevant audit, review and monitoring processes associated with grant funding. Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to network and develop relationships with a wide range of partners is also required. You will also have excellent IT skills to manage complex spreadsheets and prepare reports. Your can-do attitude will enable you to work positively with colleagues across the Healthy Communities Team.
