SMINT Sports Group appointed as British MotoGP™ sponsorship agency
UK-based sports marketing agency, SMINT Sports Group (SSG), has been appointed by British MotoGP™ rights holder The Circuit of Wales as an expert partner providing sponsorship and partnership acquisition for the UK round of the MotoGP™ World Championship; the British Grand Prix.
MotoGP™ is not only regarded as one of the most exciting and competitive forms of motorsport, but is also the pinnacle of two-wheel racing worldwide with a growing fan base in the UK and a massive global audience. The British Motorcycle Grand Prix is steeped in heritage and is a cornerstone of the British motorsport calendar. Hosting British MotoGP™ is a supreme accolade for The Circuit of Wales and the new August Bank Holiday weekend date for the race underlines the promotional opportunities associated with the British motorsport classic.
The opportunity to work with the British MotoGP promoter represents a great opportunity for SMINT Sports Group. The three-year agreement (2017 – 2019) covers all elements of sponsorship; acquisition, official partners and programme activation.

The Circuit of Wales is located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park immediately to the north of Ebbw Vale. The £425m development covers 830 acres and represents the most significant capital investment programme in motorsport, leisure, automotive, exhibition and cultural infrastructure in the UK in the last 50 years.
