Braised Broccoli with Olives

Ingredients
750g broccoli (calabrese or purple sprouting)
2 cloves garlic
juice of half a lemon
1 dried red chilli
3 tbsp olive oil
15 black olives
Instructions
- Cut the broccoli into large florets and place in a large shallow frying pan.
- Crush the garlic and add to the pan, along with the lemon juice and finely chopped chilli.
- Stir in the olive oil and 150ml water. Cover and cook on a low heat for 35 mins. Add the olives then cook for a further 5 mins.
A simple and tasty side dish that can be made with either calabrese or purple sprouting broccoli.
