Thanks once again to Bernard Rose for the lovely header shot of Stanney Fields Park - included this week to remind you all that the Fun Dog Show will be on there on Saturday afternoon. It's an exceptionally busy weekend all over the area, in fact. On Saturday there's the Dee Sea Scouts' Penny Mile taking place in the Market Square. 'Over by Christmas' is on at Hadlow Road in Willaston and Neston Flicks is showing 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' at the Civic Hall. On Sunday there's the Burton and Puddington Fun Run and the continuing celebrations of Burton Mere Wetlands' 3rd Birthday. Check out our full What's On Guide here.
