Patients in Neston are to benefit from the provision of additional NHS dentists.
Western Cheshire Primary Care Trust are rolling out a three-year expansion programme throughout the Trust's area, involving 30 new NHS dentists, some of which will be located in the Neston area.
Communications manager for Western Cheshire PCT, Anne-Marie Storey, said: "This means that, where some dental practices may have opted out of providing NHS services, the Primary Care Trust has ensured that replacement NHS services are in place.
"Patients can now find an NHS dentist within a reasonable travelling distance and do not have to pay private fees."
Chief executive of Western Cheshire PCT, Helen Bellairs, said: "This good news for patients on access and means we can now focus on preventing dental disease. We firmly believe we have the capacity for all residents to obtain NHS services in a friendly environment."
