Funeral announced of Borough Architect John Williams

Retired Borough Architect John Williams died last Sunday at the age of 85.
Mr Williams worked on designs for the Boat
Museum at Ellesmere Port
Buildings Mr Williams was responsible for included many Neston housing projects such as Churchill Court, as well as the Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port.
He was one of the founders of the Ellesmere Port Luncheon Club and is survived by his wife Betty, a son and a daughter.
Local resident Dennis Leeds said: "John was a devout Christian and a very popular, approachable and well-liked man who will be much missed by his many colleagues and friends."
The funeral service will be held at the Willaston Parish Church on Tuesday, 21st December at 10.00am, with a reception afterwards at the Willaston British Legion Club.
