There's no such thing as the Dog Poo Fairy say campaigners in Willaston

Cheshire West and Chester Council continued its ‘Bag it and Bin it' campaign against dog fouling with a road show in Willaston. Council officers were on hand to give advice and issue free dog waste bags.
Community Safety Warden Neil Denby, local resident Val

Streetscene team and Council Dog Warden Columb McPhillips.
The campaign, which has joined forces with Keep Tidy Britain, asks responsible dog owners to ‘bag and bin' dog waste as there is "no such thing as the dog poo fairy".
Dog mess can be placed in any general litter bin, but a recent Keep Britain Tidy survey shows that four out of five respondents are not aware of this - it would appear that some dog owners are picking up their dog's mess but then simply dumping the bags.
Phil Barton, Chief Executive of Keep Britain Tidy, said: "Having our streets and parks caked in dog mess is disgusting. It looks unsightly, can make arrears appear run down, is unpleasant for those who stand in it and is dangerous to our health.
"Being a responsible dog owner means picking up after your pet."
The Council's Director of Community and Environment, Steve Kent, added: "Our campaign is not anti-dog, it's about being a responsible dog owner and it's important that we keep our streets and parks clean and safe places, particularly for children, to enjoy."
