Neston Air Cadet's RAF Career Takes Off

16th August saw the Staff and Cadets of 2375 (Neston) Squadron say goodbye and a fond farewell to one of it's long standing cadets as he embarks on his career as a chef in the RAF.
Cadet Martin Hannam was our longest serving cadet, who, in his time in the Air Cadets, took part in the many activities we provide.
Over the years, we have seen him grow from a young lad into a very likeable young man, who participated in adventure training, kayaking, sports, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, shooting, annual camps and much more. Like many cadets, he got out of the organisation what he put in. He helped in fund raising events for various charities and the squadron along the way too.
Cadet Hannam follows his brother (Cadet David Hannam who joined the RAF last year), and is at RAF Halton where he is undertaking a 10 week "basic training" programme before graduating into the ranks of the RAF.
We would like to wish him all the very best in his future career and not to forget to come back and visit us.
If you would like the opportunity to take part in adventure training, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, Kayaking, Sports, Shooting, Flying, Gliding and lots more, please come and visit us to see what the Air Cadets can offer you.
We are based on Tanks Field, off Church Lane, Little Neston, Cheshire, CH64 9US. We look forward to seeing you there.
