'Paranormal Experience' Returns to Thornton Hall Hotel

Internationally acclaimed psychic Derek Acorah and 'Master Of The Mind' Alan Bates return to Thornton Hall Hotel near Neston for the second coming of 'Paranormal Experience.'

Alan Bates & Derek Acorah to return to Wirral this November.

The paranormal evening on November 4th will be a blend of past life regression and clairvoyant mediumship. The event is interactive, involving demonstrations on willing audience members.

Thornton Hall Hotel General Manager Geoff Dale said: "We are very excited to welcome Derek and Alan back to the hotel after the success of their last evening here in January. With their world renowned reputations, this second event is sure to be a triumph."

Derek found fame in 2002 when he appeared on Living TV's 'Most Haunted.' He has since gone on to tour the UK, write a number of best-selling books and appear on a variety of TV and radio programmes.

He said: "People in Merseyside are very receptive and open to new ideas. I always get a good response to events in the area. Thornton Hall is a great venue and I very much look forward to returning for another Paranormal Experience evening."

Derek first began using his psychic powers at the age of 29 after he suffered an injury that left him unable to continue his career as a footballer.

"My grandmother, who was a medium herself, passed her gift down to me. She always said that I would become a medium," he added.

Alan Bates, who is based in Port Sunlight, has been practicing past life regression for 25 years. He has travelled the world, demonstrating his skills to many celebrities and dignitaries. Past life regression is a demonstration involving time travel and an insight into a person's past life.

He said: "Our soul has a common thread which reaches and extends from one life to another. It is very common for people to change gender and travel back to a life they had hundreds of years ago."

The demonstration will be recorded and a video given to participants at the end of the evening. There will also be an opportunity to meet Derek and Alan, who will be signing autographs at the end of the show.
