Bag It and Bin It Reminder at Parkgate

Cheshire West and Chester Council continued its campaign against dog fouling with a roadshow in Parkgate this week.
On Tuesday, November 8th, the Council's Anti-Dog Fouling Roadshow was based in the car park at the end of the Parade. Council officers were on hand to give advice and issue free dog waste bags.
They also raised awareness about the public health risks associated with dog faeces, which is a breeding ground for harmful bacteria. Also the risk from parasites such as Toxocara canis, which can cause blindness, especially in young children.
The campaign asks responsible dog owners to "Bag It and Bin It" in any general litter bin.
