Harry Judd Meets Dad's Den!
Published: 24th November 2011 11:18 |
Harry Judd, drummer with pop band McFly, is currently doing the rounds of the dancefloor on BBC1's 'Strictly Come Dancing.'
His fancy footwork has not always been all about dance, though, as Brad Donelan, who leads the Dad's Den programme in Neston, can attest.
Brad recently met up with Harry at the band's gig at Echo Arena in Liverpool, and explains: "I was his cricket professional at Uppingham School where he played in my first eleven at the age of 15.
"He was a very good cricketer. He rarely plays now due to his hands needing protection. He's a lovely guy and I hope he goes on to win Strictly!"
In other Dad's Den news, Brad has recently secured a grant from Neston Town Council which will allow the fortnightly Saturday morning activity programme for Dads and their kids to continue through to November 2012.
To kick off the new programme in style, on December 3rd Neston Rotary Club will be escorting Santa to visit all the children at Neston Community & Youth Centre, where they will be holding a Christmas party with festive food and traditional party games. The party will take place during the normal Dad's Den session times - 9.30am-11.30am, and remember - No Mums Allowed!
