Published: 29th November 2011 09:35 |
Christmas arrives in Neston on Friday December 2nd with the annual Lantern Parade, Christmas Lights switch-on and performances on the Market Square.
Last minute rehearsals took place this week at Neston Community and Youth Centre for the Neston Schools Choir, co-ordinated by Hip & Harmony Director, Paula Prytherch.
Over one hundred children from Parkgate, Woodfall, St Winefride's and Neston Primary schools will entertain on the Market Square at the climax of an evening of entertainment.
The Neston lights switch on starts at 6.30pm from the Market Square as school children parade to the Cross carrying their hand made lanterns accompanied by The Mayor of Neston, Councillor Martin Barker who will be joined by Father Christmas to lead the countdown to the Christmas Lights being switched on.
