The Weight Watchers Walk and Raise a Smile Event took place on Sunday 15th April at The Oval Wirral in Bebington.
Weight Watchers members Louise Simpson, Val Simpson and
Victoria Giddens.
There was a fabulous turnout, everyone wore something funny to Raise a Smile. It was in aid of St John's Hospice and also The Hospice of the Good Shepherd on the Wirral.
We raised an amazing £455.00 and there is still money coming in. It was a great day and everyone wore a smile too. A mile consists of four times around The Oval track and many members completed around four miles. A great day was had by all.
All the members had a fabulous time and did some activity too. The event was followed by a Weight Watchers pro pointed chicken or chilli lunch with tea and coffee..
Everyone went away with a goody bag and there was a Raffle with donated prizes. The members enjoyed it so much that it is to become an annual event.
The next event in May is The Great British Afternoon Tea ( Weight Watchers style). So watch this space.
