Neston Residents Encouraged to Apply for Neighbourhood Funds

Adactus Housing Association are running their Neighbourhood Fund for the third year.

The Neighbourhood Fund is money Adactus have saved through efficiencies in the business. At the heart of the fund are local residents making decisions for their local areas. All funding applications are judged by local residents in the areas Adactus have homes.

The fund is open to residents groups, community groups, charitable organisations or social enterprises working in the areas where Adactus manage homes.

The first round of funding has taken place and the second round is now open. There is a total of £4,700 available for projects in Chester and Cheshire West

Adactus have a large concentration of properties in Neston so applications are encouraged from the area.

If you want to run a sports team, create a community garden, develop a community arts project or have another initiative that will benefit your community please submit your idea to the Neighbourhood Fund. No idea is too small.

The closing date for applications is Friday September 28th 2012. Judging will take place early October and you will be told of the outcome of your application by the end of October 2012
