The Russians are Coming to Wirral!

Many of you will remember the stunning Russian choir who came to Neston three years ago.

Now another Russian choir 'Resurrection Choir' are coming to the Wirral from St Petersburg. They will be performing at St Saviour's Church, Oxton on Friday October 19th at 7.30pm.

However, if you can't make it , or if you want to hear them again, they will be coming to Neston Church on Friday October 11th 2013, for another concert promoted by the Rotary Club.

The first half of the concert on October 19th (this year) will include some favourites from the extensive repertoire of Orthodox church music, and the second half will include folk songs.

Tickets are £10 or £9 and available on the door or by calling 07979-815419 or 07836-590875.

NO - the date on the posters is Friday October 18th.

I don't know when they're at Oxton, but there's no such date a Friday October 19th.

Martyn, you've stumbled upon an article from our news archive - as you'll see, the article itself is dated 26th Sept 2012. There is indeed a Russian Choir coming to Neston again in October. I am just awaiting a couple of details from Rotary before publishing the information. Should be available on Monday.
