St Winefride's Welcomes A Special Visitor

St. Winefride's Catholic Primary School welcomed a special visitor into school this week; a genuine Masai Warrior.

Metui (or Mr. Metui as the children nicknamed him) is over from Tanzania, on an exchange visit with his school partner schools in Ellesmere Port.

Metui, who teaches at Eluwai Primary School, answered questions on his life in Africa; as a teacher and a Masai Warrior. He also gave the children a taste of African culture, by dressing them in his traditional costume and teaching them how to dance like warriors.

All the children enjoyed this rare chance of meeting a real-life Masai Warrior.
