The Year 6 pupils at Neston Primary School performed their end of year play recently. The show was packed with songs, stunning costumes and special effects.
This year the children introduced the audience to a new musical 'Poptastic'- The show follows 'Charlie', a young girl who dreams of becoming a popstar. However, when she misses out on performing for a BBC talent show, she thinks her one chance of fame and fortune is lost forever. What she doesn't know is that help is around the corner, from the most unlikely source
Year 6 teacher Suzanne Jones said: "The show was a huge success and I am so proud of the children. We have a tradition of producing spectacular shows each July. The children did a fantastic job and maintained the very high standards set in previous years."
Headteacher Rob Golding added: "These shows are not only a credit to the pupils, but also the team of staff, parents and friends of the school who always do a superb job behind the scenes."
