New Shuttle Bus from Neston to Deeside

Cheshire West and Chester Council have recently announced expansions on the Deeside Shuttle bus service designed to make it easier for Neston residents to travel to and from work.
Timetable changes from July take account of two brand new Shuttle buses that will be operating this increasingly popular service - doubling capacity.
Christine Garner, Local Sustainable Transport Fund Programme Manager for the Council's Safe & Sustainable Travel Team said: "This means more people from Chester and the surrounding areas including Saltney, Lache, Handbridge, Blacon and Sealand will be able to get to workplaces in Deeside Industrial Park - and in a shorter journey time than before. The new buses and improved service have been made possible with funding from our successful Local Sustainable Transport Fund bid.
"The Shuttle service has also been further enhanced and extended to provide a new, on demand, morning journey from Neston and Hooton to Deeside (via Chester) arriving at Deeside Industrial Park 7.40am. The return journey from Deeside departs at 17.15 for the return trip back to Chester and Neston (Monday to Friday).
"We hope that these new services will be welcomed by residents of the Neston area for travel to and from work at Deeside Industrial Park and Chester."

I could weep when I hear of the money CWAC wasted on the new 'bus station' at Chester, yet decided to reduce funding so that an already poor bus service is worsened by removal of 6.35 pm journey.
Why does Christine Garner, "Local Sustainable Transport Fund Programme Manager for the Council's Safe & Sustainable Travel Team" make it sound as if this new shuttle service is a big favour.
