Neston's Youth in the Community Has a Lot to Offer

Neston Parish Church Youth in the Community was set up several years ago to ensure that youth work could continue in the Neston area.
The church helps with ensuring that the volunteers all have up to date security checks, and that the insurance cover is also up to date. We run three specific projects:
- a Cyber youth club on a Monday evening;
- a youth club for all abilities on a Wednesday evening;
- a non contact boxing evening on a Thursday evening.
You can find full details here.
The evenings are run by teams of dedicated volunteers who give their time on a regular basis, and we spend quite a lot of time gaining funding to run these clubs.
Unfortunately the numbers of young people coming along has started to decrease, and we would like to make a plea to young people in the area aged between 10 - 14 years for the youth clubs, and between 7 - 14 years for the boxing, to come along and see what is on offer.
Our fear is that if the young people don't use these clubs they may disappear, and unfortunately during these economic times, there is the possibility that they will not return.
So please encourage young people to take advantage of these affordable and enjoyable activities and, if you would like to volunteer with us, please send us an email.
