Lady Macbeth Comes to Neston

Local filmmaker James Chalmers has published a Kindle book about Lady Macbeth.
The book, 'Lady Macbeth - Her Early Life,' was inspired by one of his recent film projects - Prelude to Macbeth - a still from which provides the cover for the book now available on Amazon.
However, the cover shot that apparently shows Lord and Lady Macbeth standing together on a hill top in Scotland was actually located at the old quay beside the Harp Inn at Little Neston.
James has created the page turning story of Lorna Strachan, from her humble peasant origins to her marriage to Lord Macbeth. Her journey is a tale of romance and hardship. The reader doesn't need to know anything about the Shakespeare play Macbeth to enjoy the book, which is free from the distractions of unnecessary historical description and flowery language. James set out to tell a story.
Kindle users all over the world are now able to download a copy of this book from Amazon. Using scenes from the original film, which was shot mainly in the Neston area, James has also created a promotional video which is posted on his Amazon Author profile, and on YouTube.
