Neston Players Centennial Project – Assistant Directors Sought!!!
As the membership are no doubt aware the Players are undertaking a series of productions to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. Every November between 2014 and 2018, the Players will stage a production chosen for its significance and relevance to the ‘war to end all wars’. The five productions are as follows:
2014: 5th to 8th – Accrington Pals
2015: 11th to 14th – My Boy Jack
2016: 9th to 12th – Henry V
2017: 8th to 11th – King & Country
2018: 7th to 10th – Oh What A Lovely War!
Each of the productions will be directed by Paul Kirkbright and Paul is looking to identify and collaborate with a team of Assistant Directors on the project – whether that’s on one production or across the series of five productions. If anyone is interested in putting themselves forward to AD then please feel free to email Paul at p.kirkbright@chester.ac.uk or discuss your potential involvement with him at The Accrington Pals presentation night .
