A Busy Few Weeks at Neston Primary School

Staff, pupils and parents at Neston Primary School have been very busy this term, undertaking a variety of activities.
Head Teacher Rob Golding shares their news and photos:
• We raised £250 for the NSPCC and £250 for Northern Lights at our recent car wash. Our thanks to Neston Rotary Club for their help and to everyone who brought their cars for us to wash;
• Mrs Bray and her hearing dog for the deaf - Rosie - came to talk to year 2;
• We created poppies to mark Remembrance Day - 100 poppies to mark the 100 years since the start of WW1;
• We were awarded a Silver medal at Schools in Bloom competition. That is the third year in a row we have won a medal. We now have a Bronze, Silver and gold medal for our gardens;
• We raised £947 for the NSPCC/Childline during a sponsored keep fit day;
• We raised £206 for Children in Need during an own clothes day;
• Our Junior Safety Officers created signs to remind drivers about the new zebra crossing;
• Our Year 6 pupils enjoyed taking part in a Superhero day. The children created their own characters and had to create their costumes, powers and stories.
