There is a newly anointed award winner at this month's Farmers' and Food Makers' Market in Neston
Mike Morton and his award-winning marmalades
will be at Neston Farmers' and Food Makers'
Market this weekend.
Mike Morton of Find Inspiration in Food told us this week: "I'm delighted to have won an Artisan Gold Award for my Lemon Marmalade and two Artisan Silver Awards for my Lime Marmalade and my Orange & Whisky Marmalade. These were at The World's Original Marmalade Awards in Cumbria last weekend."
Congratulations Mike, we will all be looking out for your delightful preserves at the Market this coming Saturday (March 7th).
Who will be there?
Expect to see regular vendors such as The Chocolate Cellar, Truly Scrumptious, Britman Brewery, Flaming Bean Coffee, Yasmin Limbert and many more, plus some that debuted last month - Comeda Sabrosa (tasty Spanish food), Hannah Restaurant (Samosas, Bhajis and other Indian delights) and Katie's Floral Creations (flowers and handmade soap.) See our gallery of photos below to get your tastebuds tingling.
What else is in town?
While you're in town, why not take a stroll round the town centre, which boasts a number of independent shops and service businesses, along with pubs, restaurants and Elephant Coffee House. Fancy a bacon butty? Call in at Tracey's Food Hall in Brook Street. Tracey's is also home to Neston's only independent butcher's counter - well worth a visit.
