Four cadets from 2375 (Neston) Squadron, Air Cadets, took part in the 33rd annual RAF 2-day march recently, administered by the RAF Walking and Road Marching Association (RAF WARMA).
The 50-mile route march was held at RAF Cosford. Cadets from all over Wales and West Region took part.
Neston Cadets Jacob Cotton, Ewan Pakula, Kieran Eeles and Henry James, have spent the last 3-4 months in training along with other members of Merseyside Wing, presided over by Pilot Officer Wong. Their training culminated in the 50-mile march. For cadets over the age of 16, it will be a stepping stone to the prestigious Nijmegen Marches that are held in The Netherlands in a few months time as part of the British Military Contingent.
All four cadets said they thoroughly enjoyed it and would do it again, despite the hard training leading up to the event.
At the end of the march, they were all presented with a RAF WARMA medal and ribbon - what a fantastic memento for a fantastic experience. Well done boys, you did 2375 (Neston) Squadron proud.
