Neston's Laura is One in a Million Marathon Runners

Neston resident Laura Boote is relaxing today after an epic achievement - completing this year's London Marathon and becoming one in a million people to do it.
During Sunday's event, the millionth person to complete it will have crossed the line.
Laura Boote - one in a million.
Laura completed the 26.2 mile course in 5 hours, 30 minutes and 51 seconds.
To Laura's family and friends, she truly is one in a million, not just for taking part in the run but for raising over £1700 for her chosen charity - Sense. It is a national charity supporting and campaigning for people who are deafblind and those with sensory impairments.
Laura had hoped to take part in the London Marathon a couple of years ago, but an ankle injury stopped her in her tracks. After months of therapy and training, she decided to give it another go and achieved her dream this year.
Speaking after the event, Laura, a Mum of four who runs her own home hairdressing business in Little Neston, said: "I'm very chuffed to be able to say I've run the London marathon and to say I'm #oneinamillion.
"It was the best experience ever and I couldn't have achieved it without the support of my husband, Rob, and the patience of my family, as well as my cheer squad.
"Thanks also to my training buddies who ran little or lots with me, you all count.
"It's a special moment I'll never forget, thanks to everyone who sponsored me, raising money for Sense - £1722.70 to date. Awesome!"
