Businesses of all sizes are being encouraged to enter the first ever Neston and District Business Awards, which were launched today.
There are eight categories for bosses to choose from including Business of the Year (less than 10 employees), Business of the Year (more than 10 employees) and Online Business of the Year.
There are also categories recognising Green Business and Professional Services Business, as well as Entrepreneur of the Year and Business Achievement Award.
The final award is to be voted on by members of the public and will celebrate businesses with a fantastic reputation for customer service.
The awards are co-sponsored by Neston & District Chamber of Trade, About My Area Neston, business marketing company Brand and print specialist Evolution.
The launch of the awards coincides with the unveiling of an exciting new brand for the Chamber, which is keen to grow its membership and expand its offering to businesses in the area.
Paul Davies, Chairman of Neston & District Chamber of Trade, said: "We hope as many businesses and business people as possible enter the awards. We believe there is a category for everyone and, hopefully, some businesses will enter more than one category."

Paul added: "We are also excited to be using the awards launch as a high profile platform to unveil our new Chamber branding which we will be rolling out across everything we do over the coming months. We wanted something which was fresh, modern and shows that the Chamber is about getting businesses working together."
Lucy Mason, a Director of Brand which this month opened its doors on the town's high street, said: "The awards can achieve a number of important goals including recognising the achievements of local businesses, raising their profile and bringing business owners together to do even more business."
The deadline for entries is December 9 with a shortlist being announced before Christmas and an awards and networking evening at Neston Cricket Club to take place on Friday, February 7 next year. Ticket information for the event will be announced soon.
Full information about the awards can be found on the About My Area Neston website here. Completed entries can either be emailed to awards@aboutmyarea.co.uk or hand delivered or posted to Brand, 13 The Cross, Neston, Cheshire CH64 9UB.
