Neston Army Cadets Honour the Fallen

Army Cadets from Neston Detachment have been busy in the weeks leading up to Armistice Day.
Neston Army Cadets worked hard on cleaning the War Memorial.
They contacted Neston Parish Church and asked permission to clean the War Memorial in Neston town centre in preparation for the Remembrance Sunday parade. Seven cadets joined the adults and spent two hours sprucing up the memorial; clearing away moss, dirt, bird muck and cobwebs.
Cadets have also been volunteering at weekends to sell poppies locally; raising money for the Royal British Legion supporting veterans. They also took part in Sunday's parade through Neston, marching alongside veterans from all armed services.
Neston Army Cadets have been out and about selling poppies for the British Legion.
Neston Army Cadets parade every Monday and Thursday at Park Fields in Parkgate from 7pm-9.30pm. You need to be 12 and a half to join, or in year 8 at school. If you would like more information, just pop into the Detachment and ask for a member of staff.
