Key Stage 2 children at St. Winefride's RC Primary School in Neston certainly raised the roof of St. Winefride's Church at their Carol Service last week.
St Winefride's KS2 pupils celebrate Christmas
It was described as 'the best ever' by all who attended. Their singing, scripture reading, dancing and acting was all of a spectacularly high standard, showcasing all the children's wonderful talents.
Miss Sandbach, a dance teacher from Neston High, worked with the children, choreographing their super moves; producing a number of fantastic dances.
The talents and skills of the staff of St. Winefride's were also in evidence when Father Ravi led them in a festive rendition of ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town'. This performance was great fun and very special and will, no doubt be remembered for years to come.
All of the children proved that they are a credit to their school, their families and more importantly themselves. They have been very busy during the Advent period; carol singing outside Sainsbury's (where over £60 was raised), taking part in the Neston Ecumenical Singers' Carol Service and the Neston Lights 'n' Lanterns event.
Well done to everyone and Merry Christmas from all the staff and children at St. Winefride's.
